I’m having all sorts of problems with the start menu on my Windows 10 Pro 64 system.

windows 10 apps not opening from start menu

About a week ago, my launch menu stopped working. I obeyed all directions m to fix so much.

I created this new profile on my computer when migrating data and settings.

On several other new profiles, I can’t activate search results. The Quickbooks touchscreen shows Quickbooks, the app, nothing happens when I exit it. The only way to run it is by right-clicking “Run as administrator” or right-clicking “Location” of the mouse “Open shortcut and run”.

I just re-indexed my search and wanted to see if any of the search results links were missing due to the profile move.
